Each participant and volunteer of the North Country Trail Run will be given free tickets to one of the best post race parties in the country. We begin grilling at 9 AM Saturday and won’t stop until the last runner crosses the finish line at 9 PM Saturday and then we’ll do it all over again Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Under certified Chef Matt, runners, volunteers and spectators can enjoy:

  • Fire grilled and seasoned beef burgers
  • Marinated in honey and beer brats
  • Pure veggie burgers grilled on a separate grill from the above items
  • Baked beans with a hint of brown sugar
  • Fresh corn on the cob from Family Fare
  • Just the right seasoned red beans and rice
  • Grilled garlic herb potatoes
  • Various non-alcoholic beverages

All family and friends of the runners can purchase a post race party ticket either at time of runner registration for $4.00 or day of the race for $5.00.

Ludington Beverage Beer Tent

There is only one choice of beer that we serve at the North Country Trail Run! Both Saturday and Sunday, those 21+ can enjoy a beer, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Jaycees, our charity partner for this year. The North Country Trail Run, along with Ludington Beverage, provides all the necessary items, so that the Jaycees can raise funds for their projects. Enjoy ice-cold and popular beer selections from Ludington Beverage after your race and while you’re spending time watching others finish only feet away from the finish line. Just look for the Budweiser Trailer near the post-race party line. Tickets for beer can be purchased only at the post-race party ticket tent and be ready to always show ID.

Root Beer Floats

A tradition started in 2018, any runner, spectator and volunteer may request a free ticket to receive one root beer float at the post race party. A local group takes care of serving the delicious treat and the race provides a donation to the group as well as supplying all items for the root beer float area, courtesy for Filberts Root Beer and Ludington Beverage, . That allows you to enjoy this sweet treat anytime during race weekend.
