The 27th year of the North Country Trail Run is August 29th and 30th, 2026. It is the home of the largest 50-mile and 50k ultra marathon medals in the United States, 3rd largest marathon medal, and the largest half marathon medal. Every participant receives one after they cross the finish line. More importantly, is the family-like race atmosphere that takes place all day that really makes the North Country Trail Run an every-year event.

➼ Run faster on Sunday and we’ll reward you! If your pace on Sunday beats your Saturday pace, we’ll give you $10 off next year’s race for every full minute of improvement (calculated over your Sunday distance). Different distance? No problem — we compare pace, not total time, so every runner has a fair shot. *up to a max of 5 minutes.
